Welcome to Galleri Nijenkamp

Founded in 2013 by gallerist Line Nijenkamp-Knudsen, Galleri Nijenkamp is an independent Danish curatorial platform dedicated to contemporary art and long-term artist development.

The gallery works closely with a carefully selected group of artists, focusing on sustained artistic growth, international visibility and ambitious exhibition formats that extend beyond the traditional gallery space.

Over the past decade, Galleri Nijenkamp has gained recognition for building artistic careers and producing large-scale exhibitions where narrative, space and artwork merge into immersive experiences. Artists represented by the gallery have been introduced to collectors and audiences across Europe and internationally.

Operating from its base in Odense, Denmark, the gallery engages globally through art fairs, collaborations and site-specific projects.

“Our work is built on commitment — to the artists we represent and to the audiences we invite into their worlds.”

- Line Nijenkamp-Knudsen, Founder & Gallerist

Invitation to the opening at Galleri Nijenkamp

We are delighted to invite you to the vernissage with works by the Danish artist Inge Schuster - her first solo exhibition in a commercial gallery.
The exhibition presents digital works, animation, and cinematic sequences, bringing together for the first time a larger, cohesive artistic universe.
It will be a comprehensive and ambitious exhibition, where the images are not just seen, but experienced.

Inge Schuster's works revolve around memory, silence, and human presence.
They open spaces for contemplation and invite the viewer to feel rather than analyze.

For several years, Inge's works have been shown at Galleri Nijenkamp in editions.
This time, the focus is on unique works - and on the entirety of her practice.

With several museum exhibitions behind her, it is a remarkable development that Inge now - contrary to the usual path - has her first solo exhibition in a commercial gallery.

We are really looking forward to presenting this exhibition in the summer of 2026.
